THE HOME

A white-brick custom home in the gated community of Teaswood Reserve, set among wooded hills, private lakes and creeks north of Houston.

Arched windows and a vaulted entry give the house its French-country character. Inside: an open plan under cedar-beamed ceilings, wide-plank hardwood floors and walls of windows onto the backyard. The kitchen has a quartz waterfall island, a hidden prep kitchen and a walk-in pantry, with a wet bar and wine fridge for entertaining. The primary suite has a spa-style bath and an oversized walk-in closet, and a resort-style pool and covered patio finish the outdoor living. Built with energy-efficient features and a low tax rate. We managed it from site work and engineering through the Certificate of Occupancy.
